Off Rails

Junee, New South Wales

Down at track level, the world looks different. A single rusted rail curves away into the distance, bolts and ballast filling every corner of the frame. Off Rails is about the journey more than the destination - the texture of the track, the slow bend of the line, the sense that wherever this goes, it's worth following. A quietly compelling photograph that rewards a long look.
