Firebox

Sydney, New South Wales

Brass, black steel, and a hundred years of engineering pride. Firebox gets close, right up against the headlamp of a vintage steam locomotive, where the craftsmanship is impossible to ignore. Every rivet, every curve, every cable tells a story of an era when machines were built to last and looked extraordinary doing it. Behind the headlamp, the locomotive’s own green boiler stretches into the background. A photograph for those who find beauty in the mechanical.
