Branching Out

Sydney Harbour, New South Wales

A bare branch reaches across the frame while Sydney goes soft in the background. The Opera House, the towers, the harbour — all there, all slightly out of reach, as if the city belongs to a different world. Branching Out is about perspective: what happens when you stop looking past the foreground and start seeing what’s right in front of you. Still, considered, quietly stunning.
