Towering Over

Sydney, New South Wales

Look up. Keep looking. Towering Over shoots straight up the twisting spine of Sydney Tower, its spiraling structure and lattice cables fanning out against a grey sky in extraordinary geometric complexity. This is one of Sydney's most iconic landmarks seen from an angle almost nobody chooses. Engineering as sculpture, every cable taut, every curve precise, the whole thing reaching skyward with complete confidence. A photograph that makes you feel small in the best possible way.
